Since I don’t have a clear direction for this blog yet, or my life, I will use it as a platform to chronicle my travels, my experiences and hopefully will be some practice for my writing, photography ect…

I’m from Victoria, BC, Canada, I studied English Literature, and have been traveling since graduation, starting in Montreal, one of my favourite cities, did the whole ESL thing in China, and am about to embark on another year in South Korea.

I’m a culturephile, absorbing all forms, books, music, film, art, news, and like to think of myself as knowledgeable on a wide range of topics, but have a terrible memory that works against me whenever I try to prove myself in conversation, the politically focused ones occurring when I’m not in my best state of mind anyways. Being my age, mid-20’s, no money and few prospects, and a, what felt at the time necessary, university education, I’m left-leaning, with a slight west coast, earthy, new agey, broke away from religious constraints, openness, conscientiousness and adaptability about me, mixed with ‘are they really aware how much their screwing us,’ English wit, scientifically rational,  used to be religious cynicism. This barely makes sense to me, one of my faults as a typical pisces, vagueness, and as a lazy sod, lack of effort.

Let’s hope I keep this up,

Hey there, thanks for checking out my blog. I feel like I can relate with a lot of what you say here on not knowing the direction of your blog, much less your life. Also love your idea of compiling a series of photographs of cemeteries from all over the world, it’d for sure be an interesting cultural aspect to document

  2. Hello there! Thanks for dropping by my blog. If you’re still keen to read more about Russia, please feel free to check back on the old posts I’ve put up 🙂 I’m not an expert in travelling/writing but I guess I could give a very layman view of its history and its iconic places 🙂 Have fun there and take care!

I hope you do not mind, I nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. If you do not want to do the work that goes along with accepting it, eh, maybe you can just accept a little traffic to your site.
